Which top and frame come along?
Give length, width, height and material. For a round table we need diameter. Describe an extending dining table with its transport-state dimensions; say whether extra leaves come along. Also mention if legs or frame are ready separately.
A solid wood top, glass top and light dismantled desk need different planning. For stone, especially heavy tops or delicate structures, photos and known weights help. We assess such parts individually. “Table” alone reliably tells us neither weight nor the number of helpers needed.
From room to loading point: where is it tight?
Check more than the home door. Stair landings, tight turns, hallway doors and lift access may also be decisive. A table that cannot leave assembled may need dismantling first. Describe whether it is already ready dismantled. Dismantling and reassembly are agreed separately.
We need floor, lift and route to the vehicle for both addresses. An office collection may need registration, loading area or specified delivery-time details. Add chairs, a mobile drawer unit or extra tops to the furniture list if they come along.
Receive table parts and place them at the destination
Describe who will carry top, frame and other parts at both locations. Your own helpers can load; if you want to help carry yourself, your assistance with one driver can be agreed. Explicitly request two staff members for their carrying work. When carrying with you, the driver remains one employee.
Clearly say whether table parts are received at the kerb or collected from a home. The destination must be clear too: building entrance, home or agreed room. Pricing then refers to the same service scope you actually need.
What goes into the quote for your table?
A light desk dismantled at the loading point and a heavy tabletop collected from inside lead to different quotes. Describe known weight, loading access, floors and help needed. Distance, waiting time and extra stops add to the work; tabletop length alone is not enough to determine price.
If a used dining table with four chairs is collected from the second floor without a lift, include these details together. Also say whether the legs are removed. Gather loose screws and connectors and empty drawers or shelves. Agree readiness with the seller; discuss quote and trip date with us. The time window is fixed only through express agreement.
